So... what can we do for you?

When we first meet clients, our focus is on getting to know them, their business, what they wish to achieve and why. Once we understand what the client really needs, we can consider all options and advise them of what we believe to be the best course of action.

Advice that is in your best interest, not ours.

We earn our living by providing legal services, but sometimes the best solution isn’t a legal solution. If that’s the case, we’ll tell you so. Your trust is important to us. In fact, one of our most successful long-term clients retained our services because they appreciated our honesty when we advised them against pursuing a lawsuit that would have been lucrative for us, but extremely risky for them.

We charge you based on results, not hours.

We know that you are buying results and not “hours”. As this is the case, if we think that you need legal services, we will prepare a detailed proposal that explains the services that we are recommending and, for most matters, will offer fixed fees for providing those services. That way you know what you are getting and how much it will cost before you move forward.

Experience + Low overhead = Lower fees

We have extensive experience working with entrepreneurs, inventors, web developers, creative professionals, and plaintiffs and defendants in intellectual property litigation matters. This means that you wont be paying us to learn a new area of the law.

Further, because we are located in Laconia, New Hampshire, and because we use technology to reduce our need for secretarial staff, our overhead is a fraction of that of larger firms in Boston, Manchester or Concord. As this is the case, our fees are usually significantly lower than what most large firms charge.
